Frequently Asked Questions

Is it possible for me to exchange or return my order?

We accept both returns and exchanges of item(s) within 7 days of your order delivery date as long as they're still in their original condition, sealed, unopened, unworn, or unused, and in their original tags and/or packaging. Returns will be refunded to the original form of payment (Minus the shipping fees). Please refer to our Return Policy here and our Exchange policy here for more details.

We're sorry, but we can't accept returns of photocards once they have left our store or warehouse as we can no longer guarantee their authenticity.

We can't offer refunds or exchanges for products that have minor damages, dents, or scratches. If you experience any issues with your order, we suggest recording an unboxing video so we can better assist you. Please note that the customer will be responsible for paying the postage for any returns or exchanges unless the item was damaged or the wrong item was received. Refer to our internal statement regarding this issue here.

We also cannot accept returns for factory errors such as misprinted pages, typos, or missing inclusions like photocards, as these are issues caused by the manufacturer and we cannot prevent them. However, please contact us if you have any other issues or concerns and we'll do our best to help you out.

Please note that we cannot offer a refund for delayed shipping as this is an issue on the part of the postal service over which we have no control. If you do not receive your order within 10 days after dispatch, please contact us and we'll assist you in setting up a claim with the postal service for your lost or delayed order.

How do I cancel my order(s)/preorder(s)?

Don't worry, if you change your mind about your order, we understand! Just let us know before your items have been shipped and we'll cancel it for you with no extra charge. If your order has already been sent out or has arrived, you can still return it as long as the items are still factory sealed. However, you'll need to cover the return shipping costs. Once we receive the items back, we'll process a full refund for your order (excluding the original shipping fee). If you need to cancel an order, just shoot us an email with your name, postal code, and order number at Support@ohseoulhappy.com and we'll take care of it for you.

For pre-order items, we will begin processing and packaging the orders within 5 to 7 business days after the expected release date listed in the product description should there be any unforeseen delays.

*NOTE: If you pre-ordered more than one item (For example, you place an order with a preorder item with a regular item), your orders will be shipped together. Please wait until we receive all albums in stock before we send a final confirmation email with your tracking number.

I received the wrong item, what should I do?

If you have any issues with your order, like if it arrives damaged or if you received the wrong item, please let us know as soon as you receive it! You can reach out to us via Instagram direct message or email at support@ohseoulhappy.com, and we'll work with you to make it right. Just make sure not to open the item, and we'll take care of the rest. We want to ensure you're completely satisfied with your purchase.

Will I get the pre-order perks if I order in advance?

If you place a pre-order with us, don't worry! As long as you place your order 24 hours before the release date, you will be eligible to receive all the pre-order benefits. However, sometimes we may not receive all of the benefits from the manufacturer, so please check with us on Instagram before placing your order to make sure everything is in stock.

Are poster(s) included with any album purchases?

While posters may not be included with album purchases, we like to include some fun surprises in each order, like freebies, random photocard, plushies, candy, etc... to make your purchase even more special!

How long until my order is prepared and ready to ship?

Our team will do our best to process your order as quickly as possible, usually within 1-2 business days. However, if your order includes any pre-order items, they will be shipped once they are all in stock. To ensure that you receive your entire order together, we cannot send partial orders. Keep this in mind when placing your order, and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Where are your merchandise from? Are they Authentic?

We assure you that all of our products are 100% authentic and officially licensed. We make sure to only source our merchandise directly from South Korea, so you can trust that you're getting the real deal. Plus, we're always on the lookout for the latest and greatest in K-pop merchandise, so you'll always find something new and exciting in our store! So, you can shop with confidence with us.

Will purchasing an album from you count towards Korean music charts like Hanteo, Gaon, and others?

Yes, our albums and merchandise are officially recognized and count towards charts like Hanteo and Gaon. We make sure to only stock authentic and official products from South Korea.

Are you part of the Hanteo Family?

Although we're still a new shop, we're working hard to establish ourselves and become recognized in the industry. With the support of our community, we're confident that we'll be able to officially join the Hanteo family in the future. Currently, we're ensuring that all of our official merchandise is sourced directly from South Korea and counts towards the Hanteo, Gaon, and other charts. When can I expect a restock for a sold out item?

We understand that it can be frustrating when a favorite item is out of stock. Restocking times can vary depending on the product, but we always do our best to bring new items back in as quickly as possible. Keep an eye on our Social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook page, etc...) for updates on restocking, and feel free to reach out to us if there's something specific you're looking for. We'll do our best to keep you in the loop!

Shipping Policy

Shipment Processing Time

All Orders are usually packaged and shipped out within 1 to 2 business days after we received an order (Excluding weekends).

*Please be advised that shipment processing times may be extended due to various factors, such as the current global situation, highly anticipated comebacks, multiple groups releasing new albums simultaneously, and an influx of orders, as well as shipment delays from Korea. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will do our utmost to keep you informed via email or telephone. Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to ensure your orders are shipped as quickly as possible.

Pre-orders

For pre-order items, we will begin processing and packaging the orders within 5 to 7 business days after the expected release date listed in the product description should there be any unforeseen delays.

*NOTE: If you pre-ordered more than one item (For example, you place an order with a preorder item with a regular item), your orders will be shipped together. Please wait until we receive all albums in stock before we send a final confirmation email with your tracking number.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

We provide various options for delivering your purchases, through both USPS and UPS. The shipping method you select will depend on the product type and quantity.

For example, most products will have the option for Media Mail or Priority Mail shipping, Posters will be shipped via First Class, and light sticks via Priority Mail.

To ensure you get the most competitive rate, shipping charges will be calculated during checkout.

It's important to note that delivery times are separate from shipment times and should be used as an estimate only. The estimated delivery times provided are not guaranteed. Additionally, the delivery estimate will only begin once your order has been shipped. Also, please be informed that for Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands, as per USPS, Media Mail will be shipped via ship and it can take more time than the estimated standards, due to variability in transportation schedules.

 

IN-STORE PICKUP - For customers who would like to place an order on our website and pick it up in-store, we offer "In-Store Pickup" as an option. Please note that orders placed with this option will be ready for pickup 1-3 days after the order has been placed. If the order includes pre-order items, it will be available for pickup 2-3 days after the expected release date, which is listed in the product description. We will notify you via text or email once your order is ready to be picked up. (NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)

SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION - We also offer the option of "Signature Confirmation" with the above-listed shipping methods. This option is provided to reduce the risk of packages getting lost or stolen after delivery. Customers who choose this option must be present to receive the package and provide signature authorization upon delivery. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will be returned to the local postal office for pickup.

POSTERS - Unfolded posters are shipped in hard carrier tubes via USPS First Class Mail, and typically take 1-3 business days for delivery. If your order includes posters, they may be delivered on different dates than the rest of your order. If you've received only part of your order, please wait 5-7 business days for the remainder of your items to arrive. If you haven't received your order after that time, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll do our best to assist you. Additionally, if you prefer, you can opt out of receiving the unfolded posters, we can fold them and include them in your original order.

Delivery

OhSeoulHappy (www.ohseoulhappy.com) is not liable for any damages or accidents that may have been incurred while shipping or for any packages that have been delivered and scanned as such by USPS or UPS.

If you suspect that your package has been lost or stolen after it was delivered, please contact your local post office and see if they have the package for pickup. It is common for USPS to keep packages if they do not fit in the mailbox or if there is no secure location for delivery. We also suggest inquiring with your neighbors to see if they received the package. Unfortunately, we only have access to as much information as is available on the tracking page. The most we can do is file a case with your help by filing a claim with UPS or USPS. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by shipping issues.

Shipping Confirmation & Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

*NOTE:  Please be aware that for Media Mail orders shipped to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands, tracking information may be delayed. According to USPS, Media Mail is transported by ship to these locations, and shipping times may exceed published service standards due to variable transportation schedules. It may take up to three to four weeks for Media Mail packages to be delivered to these areas. If you live in Hawaii and have chosen Media Mail as your shipping option, please keep in mind that tracking information may not be updated for up to 1-3 weeks while your package is in transit on the shipping vessels.

 

Address Change

If you have mistakenly placed an order with an incorrect address, please contact us immediately at support@ohseoulhappy.com.
Unfortunately, we are unable to modify your order once it has been processed and fulfilled.

We cannot be held liable for orders that are returned due to incorrect shipping addresses or absent residents at the time of delivery. If the package was sent to the wrong address or the recipient was not present, any action (such as a refund, etc.) will only be taken once the original package has been confirmed and received by us.

International Shipping

We currently offer shipping to the United States and Canada, and we are working to expand our international shipping options to other countries as soon as possible.

Please note that for orders shipped outside of the United States, the recipient may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country and/or the selected shipping courier. These additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the customer and/or receiver.

*Additionally, customs clearance may cause delays beyond our delivery estimates and we kindly ask for our customer's understanding on this matter.

In-Store Pickups (Coming Soon)

How long will it take for my order to be ready for pick up in store?

We're excited that you placed an order! Just a friendly reminder to hold tight for a bit as our team will send you a confirmation email once your order is ready for pick-up. It usually takes 1-3 business days for the email to be sent out unless your order contains any pre-order items. Please note, you can only pick up the full order. Can't wait to see you soon!

Would someone else be able to pick up my order for me?

When you place an order, you'll receive a confirmation email once it's ready for pickup. Please wait for the email before coming to the store, and please let us know if someone else will be picking up your order on your behalf. Just make sure to include the first and last name, as well as the contact number of the person who will pick it up in the "Special Instructions for Seller" section on the cart page, or contact us after placing the order. And don't worry, we'll double-check everything with ID and order details before releasing the item(s) to ensure everything is correct!

Can you hold an order for in-store pickup for a certain amount of time?

We understand that things come up and plans change. That's why we'll hold on to your in-store pickup order for a total of 14 days after you receive an email notification that it's ready for you. If you haven't picked it up by then, we'll have to cancel the order and issue a full refund. But don't worry! If you need more time, just reach out to us and let us know. We'll do our best to make sure you can still get your hands on your items.

If your order contains any pre-order items, it won't be available for pickup until all items have been released.

Order Errors

External - Damaged/Defective item

We take great care in inspecting each item and packaging before shipment to ensure that there are no external damages. We also use various protective measures such as bubble wrap, cardboard boxes, and secure taping to minimize the risk of damage during transit. However, it is important to note that damages that occur during delivery are unpredictable and we cannot be held liable for them. Additionally, we are not responsible for packages once they have been delivered and scanned by the carrier.

Please note that some products may be manufactured in a way that makes them susceptible to minor damages, and that additional damage may occur during shipment from Korea to our facilities. Despite this, we will still perform a quality check and only ship items that are deemed fit for sale. However, we cannot be held responsible for minor scratches, bends, or other similar damages.

If you have any issues with your order, we ask that you contact us within 3 days of delivery. Once we are contacted, we will open a claim and respond to it within 24-48 hours. If we do not receive a response from you within 7 days, the claim will be considered void.

 

To file a claim for any package that has sustained major external damage during transit, it is important that all items received are kept unopened and in their original packaging. If the items have been opened, we will be unable to process the claim.

Internal - Missing/Duplicate items within package (Photocards, Polaroid Pictures, etc.)

We take great care in inspecting each package before shipment to ensure that there are no external damages. However, as products are pre-sealed, it is not possible for us to inspect for any internal issues such as missing or duplicate photocards, polaroid pictures, bookmarks, etc. These types of issues are considered manufacturer's defects as we do not package these products ourselves. Although we are not liable for defects from the manufacturer, we will file a claim on behalf of the customer in cases where item(s) are missing. Please note that the filing and resolution of a claim may take between 2-4 weeks and filing a claim does not guarantee a replacement for the item.

To file a claim, we require customers to record themselves opening the entire package from start to finish. The footage should be unedited and include the following:

  1. Showing both sides of the box
  2. Tape on the package being cut open
  3. Showing the Oh Seoul Happy sticker on packaging to indicate package is from Oh Seoul Happy
  4. Item(s) being removed, plastic seal(s) being opened
  5. Thorough inspection of the item(s) (album, DVD, season's greetings, etc.) in its entirety

Please understand that we want to help you as much as possible, if there is any uncertainty or confusion in the footage (unedited, unclear, rushed, etc.) it will be difficult for us to assist you further. But, don't worry if you find that an item is missing, just email us at support@ohseoulhappy.com with your order number and video file and we will do our best to help you out!

 

**Just a friendly reminder, please note that some albums, especially older ones, may not include a photocard. This could be because it was only included in the first press releases or because the photocard is no longer printed for that specific album.

Received incorrect item

We're sorry that you received the wrong item. We're here to help and make it right. Please reach out to us at support@ohseoulhappy.com within 3 days of the delivery date (as per the tracking number) and we'll respond to you within 24-48 hours. We'll be happy to open a claim for you, and we'll respond to your claim within 24-48 hours. If we don't hear back from you within 7 days, we'll consider the claim void.

Lightsticks

We want to make sure that your lightsticks are in perfect condition when they reach you, so before shipping them out, we thoroughly check to ensure that they are in good working condition and that there are no damages to the boxes. Additionally, we take extra precautions like using bubble wrap, cardboard boxes, and secure taping to make sure your order arrives in perfect condition. However, we understand that sometimes things happen during delivery that is out of our control.

 

If you experience any issues with your order, please let us know within 3 days of delivery and we'll be happy to open a claim for you. We'll respond to your claim within 24-48  hours. If we don't hear from you within 7 days, we'll consider the claim void.

Which forms of payments do you accept?

When you place an order with us, we offer a variety of payment options to make your shopping experience as convenient as possible. You can pay with credit and debit cards from major providers like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card. Contactless mobile payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available. 

I'm having payment issues...

I see a pending transaction on my account but my order didn't go through...

We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble placing your order. Sometimes when an order doesn't go through, you may still see a pending charge on your account. Don't worry though, this is just a temporary hold and the charge will be reversed and cleared within 2-3 business days. If the charge still appears after that, please reach out to us and we will investigate further for you at Support@ohseoulhappy.com

I'm having trouble with my card, it keeps giving me an error message when I try to make a purchase.

We understand that you're experiencing some trouble with your payment, it might be due to a mismatch in the address/zip code, or phone number between the billing information and your credit/debit card. Our payment system has strict security measures to protect against fraud, and sometimes that means that a transaction may be declined if the information provided doesn't match up. To fix this issue, please double-check that the billing information you provided during checkout matches the information on your credit/debit card.

If you're still having trouble with the checkout process, you can try using a different card or reach out to us for help. We'll do our best to assist you and make sure your purchase goes smoothly.

I am still waiting for my refund, what is taking so long?

We understand that waiting for a refund can be frustrating. Rest assured that we process all refunds as quickly as possible. Typically, it takes 3-5 business days for the refunded amount to be credited back to the original form of payment, but it may take longer due to bank processing times or the method of payment used.

Can I use a prepaid gift card as a form of payment?

We do accept prepaid gift cards as a form of payment, if an order is canceled, it may take longer for the refund to be credited back to the original payment method. We ask for your patience and understanding and kindly ask you to allow 3-14 business days for the charges to be reversed and cleared. If you still don't see the refund on your card after this period, please contact us, and we'll verify all attempted transactions with our payment processor.

When using a prepaid gift card at checkout, we recommend that you keep it until you receive your package(s). In case of any issues with your order, the transaction will be refunded to the original payment method. Unfortunately, once refunded we are unable to reverse the transaction.

Please also note that in the case of a lost or stolen prepaid card, it is the customer's responsibility to contact the card issuer to resolve the issue.

We understand that things don't always work out and we want to make sure you're happy with your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help you with an exchange or return. Let us know how we can assist you and we'll do our best to make it right.

For IN-STORE purchases, We're happy to process returns for item(s) purchased in-store, as long as they're still in their original condition, sealed, unopened, unworn, or unused, and in their original tags and/or packaging. To ensure a smooth return process, please bring your receipt with you when you return the item(s) within 7 days of purchase.

For IN-STORE pickup purchases, we're happy to offer returns as long as the item(s) are sealed, unopened, unworn, or unused, and in their original tags and/or packaging.

To process the return, you'll need to bring the item(s) in-store along with a photo ID, as well as the original order information (order number, name, address, and email) used to make the purchase. These returns need to be made within 7 days from the date of pickup in order for us to issue a full refund.

 

For returns on item(s) purchased ONLINE, make sure that the item(s) MUST be well packaged and returned in the same condition as when they were received with all inclusions. This means the items should be unopened, not worn or used, and properly wrapped for protection during shipment. Returns must be shipped within 7 days of the delivery date. If 7 days have gone by since the delivery date, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund.

Once we receive and check the item(s) for any damages, allow us 5-7 business days to process your refund. Please keep in mind that the shipping costs you paid to have the item(s) delivered to you will not be included in the refund. All return shipping and insurance costs are the customer's responsibility.

*For pre-ordered item(s), we will only process a refund request if it is made within the pre-order time period. If the pre-order period has ended, we will be unable to process a refund request. 

 

To start an online return, you can contact us at Support@ohseoulhappy.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Item(s) sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Customers will be responsible for any shipping fee for returning or exchanging products due to a simple change of mind or accidental order.

Damages and issues

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so please let us know if you receive a damaged or defective item, or if we've made a mistake with your order. We'll do our best to make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items

Some items cannot be returned such as perishable goods (food, flowers, or plants), custom products (special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (beauty products).

ALL Sale items and gift cards are final sale. So we cannot accept returns for those items. However, if you have any problems, let us know and we'll do our best to help you out.

 

Exchanges

For IN-STORE purchases, item(s) can be exchanged as long as they're still in their original condition, sealed, unopened, unworn, or unused, and in their original tags and/or packaging. To ensure a smooth return process, please bring your receipt with you when you return the item(s) within 7 days of purchase.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item(s) you have, and once the return is accepted, make a new separate purchase for the new item(s).

What if my package was shipped, but returned to the store?

We do not assume responsibility for any orders that are returned due to incorrect shipping information or an absence of the recipient at the time of delivery. In cases where the United States Postal Service (USPS) is unable to deliver a package due to an undeliverable or incorrect address, the package will be returned to our store. Similarly, in cases where the recipient is not present at the time of delivery, USPS will typically hold the package at the local post office for 14 days. If the package remains unclaimed during this time, it will also be returned to our store. It should be noted that orders that have been shipped but are being returned to the store for any reason cannot be re-shipped.

In the event that an order is returned to our store, the purchase amount will be refunded, with the exception of shipping charges. If a customer still wishes to receive the purchased item(s), they will need to place a new order on our website. We strongly advise customers to double-check the shipping address provided at the time of order placement to avoid any complications.
